Elena Molina

Elena Molina has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry, holding leadership positions in various companies. Elena is currently the Chief Business Development Officer at X-ELIO since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer of Brookfield Renewable Europe at Brookfield Renewable from November 2019 to January 2022. From January 2017 to November 2019, Elena worked as the Director of Operations Latam at TerraForm Power. Before that, they had a role in SunEdison as the Director of Corporate Development, M&A, and Asset Management for North America from August 2015 to January 2017. Elena also served as the Regional M&A EMEA & Latam in SunEdison from January 2014 to August 2015. Elena's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Manager in M&A, Corporate Finance, and Energy at Grant Thornton LLP from July 2012 to December 2013. Elena also worked as a Corporate Finance Manager at Greentech Energy Systems A/S from March 2011 to November 2012. Prior to that, Elena served as a Manager in M&A, Energy at PwC from September 2007 to March 2011. Additionally, they have held roles in M&A at EBN Banco de Negocios and Corporate Development International at Gas Natural Fenosa. Elena started their career as a Tecnico FP&A at Mercer from September 2001 to September 2003.

Elena Molina's education history includes an MBA in Renewable Energies, Oil, Gas and Energy from IESE Business School, which they pursued from 2003 to 2004.
