Gianfranco R. Memoli

Gianfranco R. Memoli serves as Country Manager for Italy at X-Elio, overseeing in-country operations and the development of over 1GW of photovoltaic projects since December 2010. Previous roles include Regional Legal Manager and Senior Legal Counsel, specializing in cross-border M&A transactions and financing across Italy, the USA, Canada, and the Middle East. Gianfranco's extensive legal experience encompasses drafting, negotiation, and review of complex contracts for large-scale PV energy projects, as well as legal counseling in corporate affairs during an internship at Enel Green Power S.p.A. Prior experience includes litigation and ADR, where Gianfranco represented clients before civil and commercial courts. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from SDA Bocconi and a Master’s degree in International Business Law from Sapienza Università di Roma.
