Alexander Zoellner

Project Lead at X, the moonshot factory

Alexander Zoellner has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Project Lead at X, the moonshot factory that began in February 2020. Before that, they worked as a Winemaker and Proprietor at Sierra Morena Winery starting in September 2019. Prior to that, they were employed at Apple from April 2016 to January 2020 as a Product Design professional. Alexander has also worked as a Co-Founder & Technical Lead at Galileo Surgical in 2015, where they contributed to the development of a medical device. Earlier in 2015, they co-founded Vaxxio and served as the CTO, where they developed a prototype digital vaccination record. Alexander's work experience also includes roles at Stanford University as an Instructor/Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant, National Crash Analysis Center as a Research Assistant, University of Stuttgart as a Research Assistant, and internships at Kleinwächter GmbH and Gardner Denver in 2008 and 2005 respectively.

Alexander Zoellner completed their education in a sequential manner. From 2011 to 2015, they attended Stanford University and received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Stuttgart from 2005 to 2011, attaining a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Mechanical Engineering. In the year 2009 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at The George Washington University.
