X, the moonshot factory
Egor Modin has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Egor is currently working as a Software Engineer at X, the moonshot factory, starting from January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at EPAM Systems for four years, where they held two roles: Software Engineer at Google from July 2018 to December 2020, and Software Test Automation Engineer from October 2016 to July 2018. Before EPAM Systems, they worked at RadiumOne as a QA Automation Engineer from December 2015 to October 2016. Egor also worked at Limelight Networks as a QA Automation Engineer from September 2014 to November 2015. Prior to that, they worked at EMC as a QA Engineer from July 2012 to September 2014. Egor started their career at First Line Software, Inc as a QA Engineer from June 2011 to June 2012. Egor also worked at ЗАО "Комита" as a QA Engineer from July 2010 to June 2011, and at SAO RAS as a Junior Researcher from June 2005 to May 2010.
Egor Modin completed their Master of Science degree in Physics from Saint Petersburg State University from 2002 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University, which they completed from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Egor obtained a certification in the TensorFlow in Practice Specialization from Coursera in April 2020.
