Adi Aron-Gilat has extensive work experience in various industries. Adi began their career as a Law Clerk at the Israel Union for Environmental Defense, where they handled cases related to waste management, air pollution, and asbestos contamination. Adi then worked as a Law Clerk at S. Horowitz and Co. In 2004, Aron-Gilat joined Stanford Law School and the Center for Democracy Development and the Rule of Law as a Research and Teaching Assistant, focusing on human rights law, international law, and policy-making.
In 2008, Aron-Gilat joined Better Place as the Director of Strategy and Business Development. Adi later became the Global Head of Policy and Regulatory Affairs, where they established and managed the Global Policy Team and raised $25 million in funding from international governmental sources.
In 2013, Aron-Gilat founded Y&A Consulting, where they served as Principal, advising clean-tech, energy, and high-tech clients on fundraising, strategy, business development, and policy. Adi helped companies raise capital, develop new strategies, create partnerships, and navigate regulatory and policy matters.
In 2014, Aron-Gilat joined X, The Moonshot Factory as the Strategy Lead for the Rapid Eval team. Adi later became the Director of Strategy, overseeing strategic initiatives and projects.
In 2019, Aron-Gilat joined Stanford University Graduate School of Business as a Lecturer. Adi also served as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Baswood, a company providing innovative wastewater and biosolids management solutions.

Adi Aron-Gilat pursued their education in a progressive manner, starting with their Bachelor's degree in Law from the Faculty of Law, Tel-Aviv University, which they completed between the years of 1997 and 2001. Following this, they went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geophysics and Planetary Sciences from the School of Geophysics and Planetary Sciences, Tel-Aviv University, during the period of 1998 to 2002.
Continuing their academic journey, Adi enrolled at Stanford Law School in 2002 and obtained a Master of Science degree (JSM) with a specialization in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law in the subsequent year. Adi further expanded their knowledge in the field of law at Stanford Law School by pursuing a JSD (Doctor of the Science of Law) degree in Environmental Law, which they successfully completed from 2003 to 2015.
