Kevin Smith

Kevin Smith's work experience begins in 2000 as a Senior Investment Banking Analyst at SG Cowen. Kevin then joined Bain & Company in 2006 as a Case Team Leader, a position they held until 2010. In 2010, they joined Hewlett-Packard as Worldwide Cloud Strategy and Solutions personnel, and later in 2011, they became the Head of Wallet Commercialization. In 2013, they transitioned to the role of Head of Payments Strategy and Operations, and in 2014, they served as the Head of Payments Business Development, Mobile Carriers. From 2015 to 2018, Kevin worked as the Head of Shopping Business Development at Google. Finally, in 2018, they joined X, the moonshot factory, as the Business Operations Lead, and in 2019, they assumed the role of Project Lead.

Kevin Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UCLA. Kevin then pursued further education at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where they obtained an MBA degree with a focus on Strategy and Finance.
