Salil Pradhan

Salil Pradhan has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Salil'smost recent position is as the Early Stage Portfolio Director and Project Lead at X, the moonshot factory, starting in April 2020. Prior to this, they held various roles as an investor in companies such as Chirp Microsystems, Inc., Notion, MomentFeed, and Draper Nexus Venture Partners, starting in 2015.

Before their involvement with these companies, Salil Pradhan served as an advisor at Brother International Corporation from 2010 to 2015. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2011, they worked as an Executive in Residence at JAIC America, Inc. and as the VP of Engineering & Ops (Consultant) at Livehit, Inc.

In 2007, Salil Pradhan co-founded VCnity, Inc. and served as its CEO. Salil also gained significant experience during their time at Hewlett Packard, where they held various positions from 1997 to 2007. Notably, they served as the Chief Technology Officer of the RFID Program, where they co-founded a cross-company effort resulting in a profitable internal venture worth $100 million in worldwide revenue. Salil also served as a Department Manager and Senior Scientist/Manager at HP, leading teams and spearheading projects related to mobility, RFID, sensor networks, wireless domains, and Java technologies.
