Zane Dunnings

Zane Dunnings is a highly skilled software engineering professional with a strong focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer for Ads ML at Company X since January 2023, Zane leads initiatives in embedding-based candidate retrieval, multi-head deep neural network prediction, and machine learning targeting. Prior to this, Zane held positions as a Senior Software Engineer specializing in machine learning and ad targeting at Twitter from July 2019 to January 2023, and as a Researcher in the Core AI team at Clinc, Inc. Zane's experience also includes internships at Twitter, Workday, and Stryker Endoscopy, along with research at the University of Michigan, where Zane coauthored a publication and designed experiments in the field of life sciences. Zane holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering.
