Mario Hackel

Mario Hackel has extensive work experience in the field of information security and consulting. Mario is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at X1F since January 2023.

Prior to their current role, Mario has worked at matrix technology GmbH from January 2019 to December 2022, where they held the positions of Chief Information Security Officer and Senior Strategy Consultant. Mario also served as a Senior IT Consultant from May 2015 to December 2018 at the same company.

Before that, Mario worked as a System Consultant at Procilon IT Solutions GmbH from January 2013 to April 2015. Mario also gained experience as a System Engineer at Alpha2000 GmbH from January 2012 to December 2012, and as a System Consultant at verde SBS GmbH from January 2011 to December 2011.

Mario also has experience in sales, having worked as a Vertriebsbeauftragter IBM LeadEngine PSC Süd at IBM Deutschland GmbH from April 2009 to January 2011.

Mario started their career as a Freelancer, serving as an IT Consultant from July 2006 to March 2009. Prior to that, they worked at NKV Nationwide Insurance as an IT-Consultant und IT-Projektleiter from January 1996 to June 2006.

Mario Hackel has a diverse education history. Mario obtained a degree in Business Administration and Economics, specifically in the field of Business, Management, Marketing, and related support services, from an unspecified institution. Mario completed this degree in 2004.
