Troy Diaz

Troy Diaz has extensive experience in mechanical engineering and product development. Troy is currently serving as the Lead Mechanical Engineer at X2F since July 2021. Prior to this, they owned New Product Designs, LLC from January 2021 to July 2021.

Their previous roles include working at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences as a Staff Mechanical Engineer from August 2013 to September 2020. During their time there, they led the development of the Vi-CELL BLU cell viability analyzer and was responsible for various aspects such as optics, fluidics, automation, thermal control, industrial design, and more.

Before that, they worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences from July 2008 to August 2013. In this role, they contributed to the development of the Astrios flow cytometer, focusing on subsystems and utilizing design for manufacture, SolidWorks, ANSYS FEA, and more.
