Anita Hecht-Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Anita started their career in 1990 as a Customer Service Representative at America West Airlines, where they were responsible for ticketing, gate agent duties, station auditing, and managing flight operations. Anita then worked as a Customer Service Representative at Private Jet Expeditions, providing charter airline services for Apple Vacations. In 1994, they became a Flight Attendant/Purser at US Africa Airways, operating flights between Washington Dulles International Airport and Johannesburg. Anita continued their flight attendant role at World Airways, a US flag carrier with worldwide operating authority, and later transitioned to becoming an Operations Manager at Innovations in Travel. Here, they evaluated travel plans for families and businesses, secured transportation and accommodation arrangements, and maintained productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Anita's career then took a shift towards executive support roles. Anita became an Executive Assistant at Laureate Education, Inc. in 2010, where they provided comprehensive support services to the Senior Vice President and Executive Team. Their responsibilities included document preparation, confidential file management, mail handling, supply ordering, record maintenance, and coordination of special events and projects. Anita then briefly worked as an Executive Assistant at Vision Innovation Partners in 2020.

In addition to their executive support roles, Anita has also undertaken project-based positions. In 2020, they worked as a Project Support Specialist/Search and Rescue at X3M Systems, LLC, supporting the Search and Rescue team at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.

Throughout their career, Anita has demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

Anita Hecht-Johnson has a diverse education history. Anita first attended the Von Lee International school, where they obtained their Esthetician/Makeup License. Later, in 1986 to 1987, they returned to Von Lee International to pursue their Esthetician License with a focus on skin care. In 1980 to 1981, Anita attended Touro College, majoring in Business. Additionally, they completed the Travel Career Development Program at the Carlson Travel Academy.
