Alexander Tynkovan

Alexander Tynkovan, a Russian national, is a returning member of the Supervisory Board of X5 Retail Group N.V., having previously served from 2008-2015. He is a founding partner of M.Video (currently M.Video-Eldorado Group), the leading consumer electronics and home appliance retailer in the Russian Federation. Alexander currently serves as an M.Video Board member and Head of its Strategy Committee, focused on digitalization and increasing the company's online presence. He is also a non-executive Deputy Chairman of the Board of Fix Price Group Ltd., a Russia-based retail chain of discount variety value stores. Alexander graduated summa cum laude from the Moscow Energy Institute, majoring in Aircraft Electric Equipment.​
