Roland Wulz began their work experience as a Corporate Client Advisor at Zürcher Kantonalbank from April 1991 to December 1996. Roland then joined Credit Suisse, where they held various roles, including Corporate Client Advisor and Head of Content Management. In January 2007, they became the Head of Advisory & Order Fulfillment International Locations, a position they held until September 2016. From October 2016 to April 2018, they served as the Head of Execution Business Management & IWM Locations. Roland then took on the role of Head of Business Management for Execution Desk and Stream Lead Execution Project Aladdin from April 2018 to July 2019. Roland Wulz was later the Program Lead for Project Aladdin from July 2019 to November 2020. Roland then took an educational sabbatical leave at Harvard, LSE, Cambridge, and Oxford Universities from November 2020 to January 2022. In February 2022, they joined X8 AG, initially as the Chief Operating Officer and later promoted to the position of CEO starting in September 2022.

Roland Wulz has a diverse education history spanning various subjects and institutions. In 1993-1996, they obtained a Higher Education degree in Finance and Financial Management Services, specifically in the field of finance, from Eidg. dipl. Bankfachmann. Later, in 2020, they completed the Harvard VPAL FinTech Online Short Course at Harvard University. Following this, in 2021, Roland completed several online courses at Harvard Business School, including Global Business, Certificate of Specialization in Strategy, Sustainable Business Strategy, and Disruptive Strategy. Additionally, in 2021, they also pursued the MBA Essentials program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Expanding their knowledge further, Roland acquired additional certifications in various subjects. In 2021, they completed the courses "Data Science for Business: Building a Data-Driven Organization" at Rice University, "Oxford Leading Sustainable Corporations Programme" at the University of Oxford, "Blockchain and Digital Currency: The Future of Money" at the University of Cape Town, "Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy" at MIT Sloan School of Management, "Digital Disruption: Digital Transformation Strategies" at the University of Cambridge, and "Blockchain Technologies: Business Innovation and Application" at MIT Sloan School of Management. Additionally, Roland obtained certifications in "Introduction to Programming Using Python" and "Python Functions, Files and Dictionaries" from the University of Michigan in 2021.

Looking forward, in 2022, Roland plans to complete the Entrepreneurship Essentials and Design Thinking and Innovation programs at Harvard Business School Online. Finally, in 2023, they intend to acquire a certification in Cryptocurrency from the MIT Media Lab.
