Darren Slade

Darren Slade is an experienced Engineering & NPI Manager at Xaar, with a career spanning over two decades in various engineering roles across multiple companies, including Selex Galileo, Selex Sensors & Airborne Systems, and BAE Systems. At Xaar, Darren has led a team of Engineers and Technicians, focusing on technical management, innovation, and continuous improvement while defining methodologies and strategies for process engineering and project management. Previous roles included responsibilities for semiconductor processes and principal design authority for leading detector technologies. Darren holds an MSc in Applied & Modern Optics and a BSc (Hons) in Physics with Computer Science from the University of Reading.
