Denise James

Denise James has an extensive work experience in the mortgage industry. Denise started their career at LexisNexis, where they served as a Vertical Solutions Consultant, providing strategic and tactical programs to mortgage industry participants. Denise also held the role of Sr. Director Market Planning, overseeing marketing, operations, and business development functions for the Real Estate Mortgage vertical.

Denise then founded and developed a Fintech company called Clearview Risk Services, LLC., where they provided quality control and risk management solutions to the mortgage industry. Denise was responsible for all aspects of corporate operations and held full P&L accountability.

After that, Denise joined Credit Plus as a QA/QC Operations Manager, managing operational resources to ensure maximum efficiency. Denise also played a key role in product marketing, ensuring that customer needs were represented throughout the product lifecycle.

Denise continued their journey at Credit Plus as Vice President, Quality Control Operations, where they led all areas related to mortgage finance risk management operations, including revenue growth, process improvement, strategic planning, and staff development.

Most recently, Denise joined Xactus as the SVP - Quality Control & Fraud Solutions. In this role, they oversee all operations for the QC Division and develops NextGen product solutions for the loan, fraud, and risk suite of products. Denise is also responsible for leading the product roadmap, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and risk/data analytics. Denise manages a team of 53 and holds full P&L accountability.

Denise James holds a Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA) in Strategic Marketing & Finance from Nova Southeastern University. Denise also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA) in Marketing and Finance from Northwood University. Additionally, Denise has obtained certifications as a Certified Diver from PADI and as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
