Aric Whitewood

Aric Whitewood, PhD, is a distinguished leader in the fields of artificial intelligence and data science, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of XAI Asset Management, an AI-focused hedge fund founded by Aric in April 2017. Additionally, Aric is the founder of Education AI, an edutech platform utilizing advanced technologies such as Adaptive Learning Pathways and Large Language Models. Aric holds the position of Honorary Associate Professor at UCL, where research projects focus on natural language processing and reinforcement learning in finance. Prior experience includes a tenure at Credit Suisse as Chief Data Scientist, where Aric led the Client Analytics team and implemented pioneering machine learning solutions. Aric's earlier career involved specialized roles in the Aerospace Industry, concentrating on signal processing and sensor technologies. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MEng in Electronic Engineering from UCL.
