Ali Akhundov

Ali Akhundov has extensive work experience in the banking sector. Ali currently serves as the CIO at Xalq Bank since 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Kapital Bank OJSC, where they held the position of Advisor of Information Security starting from December 2017. Before that, they served as the IT Manager of Infrastructure and Bank systems department at the same company, starting from September 2004. Additionally, they worked at a Bank as an IT Manager from September 2004. Ali began their career as a DBA at AzeriCard LLC in 1999 and worked there until 2004.

Ali Akhundov earned a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Baku Economic University of Management in 1997. Ali then went on to complete their Master's degree in Systems Automation at Azerbaijan State Oil Academy in 2000.
