Carly Owens, MSA, serves as the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager at XALT Energy since May 2022, where responsibilities include developing the EH&S department, advising leadership on safety issues, updating safety standards, facilitating Root Cause Investigations, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Previous experience includes roles as an Environmental & Sustainability Specialist at International Flavors & Fragrances, an Environmental Specialist at DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences, and a Chemistry Supervisor at Midland Cogeneration Venture LP. Carly holds a Master of Science in Administration with a focus on Engineering Management from Central Michigan University and multiple certifications in Chemical Process Technology and Environmental Technology from Delta College, along with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial/Technology Management from Eastern Michigan University.
