Dylan Mahler has a diverse background in quantum physics and engineering. Dylan began their career as a PhD candidate at the University of Toronto, where they focused on quantum optics and quantum information. After completing their PhD in 2015, they moved on to a post-doctoral research position at the University of Bristol, where they worked on integrated quantum photonics. During this time, they also served as a lecturer in the Quantum Engineering Centre for Doctoral training at the University of Bristol, conducting research and teaching. In 2018, Dylan joined Xanadu as an Experimental Physicist and later took on the role of Quantum Sources Team Lead. Currently, they are working as the Head of Quantum Sources at Xanadu. Throughout their career, Dylan's research has primarily focused on the development and characterization of quantum devices and sources.
Dylan Mahler completed their education history as follows. They attended the University of Toronto from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics. Prior to that, they attended Lakehead University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics. In addition to their formal education, Dylan Mahler holds a certification in Silicon Photonics Design, Fabrication, and Data Analysis from edX. The exact month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
