Kimia Rezaei Shad (She/her)

Kimia got her bachelor degree from University of Tehran in materials and metallurgical engineering. At that time she was working on nanomaterials and their applications as a research assistant. Then in her masters in University of Ottawa in Canada, she changed her path to work on nanomaterials with potential use in photonic devices and got her master degree from University of Ottawa.

Kimia is currently a photonic laboratory technician at Xanadu. She is responsible for sample preparation for metrology and low loss high precision optical measurements. She is also involved in analytical & experimental preparation process for packaging of photonic devices.
