Patent Engineer at Xanadu

Trevor Towstego's work experience includes a role as a Patent Engineer at Xanadu starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the University of Toronto starting in 2015. At the University of Toronto, they held multiple roles, including Graduate Student Researcher from September 2015 to June 2022, Teaching Assistant from September 2015 to December 2021, and Summer Research Student in May to August 2015. In 2014, Trevor worked as a Summer Research Student at Queen's University, where they contributed to research and development for the SNO+ neutrino detector at SNOLAB. Trevor also worked as a Radiation Physics Summer Student at University Health Network in 2013, participating in cancer research related to hypoxic regions of tumor cells in cervical cancer patients.

Trevor Towstego pursued their education in a chronological manner. Starting in 2011, they attended Queen's University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Engineering Physics. Following this, Trevor went on to pursue further studies at the University of Toronto. From 2015 to 2022, they successfully completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Experimental High Energy Physics.
