Lizbeth Anaya Ramos

Lizbeth Anaya Ramos has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple industries. Lizbeth began their career as a Branch Sales Representative at MSC Industrial Supply Co., where they collaborated with external vendors, managed consultants, and provided regular progress reports. Lizbeth then transitioned to the education sector, working as an Enrollment Advisor at Bridgepoint Education, managing student enrollment and implementing a student retention process that increased retention by 40%.

Afterwards, Lizbeth joined Galvanize Inc as an Enrollment Officer, conducting outreach activities, managing the enrollment process, and providing personalized resources to potential students. Lizbeth then became a Technical Evangelist at Galvanize Inc, where they created and led Coding for Women by Women, a JavaScript workshop series, managed content for the Galvanize Tech Community, and designed new workshop content.

Lizbeth also gained experience as a Freelance Software Engineer, contributing to projects such as BizNotez and echoSales. In these roles, they developed clean and intuitive UI using React and CSS, created RESTful APIs, and utilized technologies such as Node, Webpack, Babel, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and AWS.

Most recently, Lizbeth worked as a Developer Community Manager at TigerGraph, where they developed community engagement events and projects, created a program to consolidate member data, and expanded the Meetup Event Program to 14+ cities globally.

Currently, Lizbeth is working as a Developer Community Manager at Xano.

Lizbeth Anaya Ramos completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Marketing from Fort Lewis College, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In 2019, they furthered their education by attending Galvanize Inc's Hack Reactor - Software Engineering Immersive program, which they completed in 2020.
