Principal Scientist at Xap Therapeutics

Celeste Pallant has a diverse work experience in various scientific roles. Celeste is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Xap Therapeutics since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at GSK for eight years, starting in March 2013. At GSK, they held multiple roles including Investigator from July 2017 to June 2021, Senior Scientist from February 2014 to July 2017, and Bench Scientist from March 2013 to February 2014.

Before joining GSK, Celeste worked at UCL for four years, starting in September 2009. Celeste initially joined as a PhD student and conducted research on zinc finger nuclease mediated genome modification and correction of disease genes. Prior to their PhD, they worked as a Research Technician at UCL from September 2006 to September 2008.

Celeste Pallant obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Cancer Biology and Immunology from the University of Bristol, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Gene Therapy at UCL from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, Celeste Pallant holds a certification in First Aid from St Johns Ambulance.
