Gerard Offermans

Gerard Offermans is a Senior Research Scientist at UrsaNav, a leader in Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) solutions, since September 2010. Offermans has extensive experience in the field, having served as Director of Offermans BVBA and as a member of RTCM, where contributions focus on new specifications for eLoran receiving equipment. Previously, Offermans was Director at Plutargus, providing consultancy and support for positioning and timing services, and held the role of Consultant - Technical Director at Reelektronika. Offermans earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering specializing in Navigation technology from Delft University of Technology, after completing a secondary education at Maerlant Lyceum.
