Maria João Castelão

Maria João Castelão is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in design and leadership roles, currently serving as a Board Member and Head of Design at both Xarevision and Shelf.AI since February 2016. Shelf.AI focuses on integrating conversational interfaces and artificial intelligence in e-commerce for elite clients. Prior to these roles, Maria João held various positions including Designer at SONAE and Grupo Mbit, as well as working as a freelancer. Maria João's career began in design roles and included experiences in arts education and performance as a backup singer. Maria João holds a Master's degree in Multimedia from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and has completed several certifications related to marketing and communication.
