Michelle Savage

Michelle Savage began their career in 1995 as the Vice President of Marketing for Bertelsmann. In 1996, they moved to PR Newswire, where they held the role of Vice President. In 2007, they joined XBRL US, Inc as Vice President, where they were responsible for communications and outreach strategy for the nonprofit 501C6. Michelle managed marketing, public relations and education, as well as advocacy efforts with Congress and regulators. Michelle was also an integral part of the senior leadership team, responsible for shaping short- and long-term strategy for the organization, and managing business development.

Michelle Savage attended The Wharton School from 1982 to 1984, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Economics. Michelle then went on to attend NYU Stern School of Business, where they earned their Master of Business Administration in Marketing.
