Paul Phillips

Paul Phillips is the Senior Vice President and Principal at Humla Ventures. Prior to Humla, Paul was with Fifth Third Bank as Vice President of Healthcare and Business Services Banking. There, they were a relationship manager and introduced the bank to eleven companies with revenues totaling more than $1 billion. Paul then went on to advise a managing general underwriter of individual medical products, a $170 million Medicare Advantage insurer, and a rapidly-expanding home health company. Through these endeavors, Paul has become an expert in treasury management, business valuation, capital structure, and market analysis. Paul has also generated six-figure accounts for both Fifth Third Bank and the Banc Corp.

Paul Phillips has a Masters in Accounting with a Tax Concentration from the University of Florida and a BSJ in Journalism from the University of Florida. Paul is also certified as a CPA (inactive).
