Gregory Brown

Gregory Brown currently serves as General Manager of Nuclear Fleet Operations and Plant General Manager at Xcel Energy since September 2022. Prior to this role, Gregory held positions at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations, including Performance Monitoring/Recovery and Continuum Leader from May 2019 to September 2022 and Senior Operations Evaluator from November 2010 to May 2013. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Plant Manager and Operations Manager - Support at Arizona Public Service from June 2013 to May 2019 and November 1994 to October 2010, respectively. During tenure at APS, responsibilities included overseeing equipment reliability, plant performance, and operational excellence, while also managing the licensed operator training program and ensuring regulatory compliance. Gregory began the career as a Reactor Operator, focusing on control room operations and staff training.
