Nathan Jacobs

Nathan Jacobs serves as the IT Manager for Network & Application Services at Xcel Energy since November 2017, overseeing a team of engineers and critical enterprise technologies such as Corporate VPN and Application Security. Previously, Jacobs held various roles at Xcel Energy, including Team Lead and Network Engineer, where responsibilities included network management and firewall administration. In addition to experience at Xcel, Jacobs is currently a Cyber Warfare Technician for the Minnesota Army National Guard and has held several leadership roles since joining in 2009. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communications from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, certifications in emergency medicine, and recent training in Cyber Security from the Army Cyber Center of Excellence.
