Pamela Mendoza

Pamela Mendoza, P.E. is a seasoned professional in electrical engineering with extensive experience in system protection and materials standards. Currently serving as Sr Manager System Protection Engineering and Principal Engineer at Xcel Energy since April 2018, Pamela oversees critical projects related to transmission and distribution relay settings and compliance initiatives. Previously, at Leidos, served as Senior Protection Engineer leading a team focused on utility system protection settings. Earlier roles at CenterPoint Energy included Team Supervisor for the material and standards group, Senior Materials Engineer, Senior Distribution Reliability Engineer, and Substation Design Engineer, where valuable expertise was developed in various aspects of electrical infrastructure and reliability. Pamela holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University.
