Richard Lucero

Richard Lucero, P.E., is a Principal Gas Engineer at Xcel Energy, overseeing the day to day operations of the High Pressure and Intermediate Pressure Gas Systems in Denver Metro, as well as engineering distribution lines in the region. With experience in mechanical engineering and performance monitoring, Richard has also worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Super-Tech Filter, a Guest Relations Representative at MillerCoors, and as an Engineering Intern at Xcel Energy. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, Richard has also worked in public safety and recreation roles at the City and County of Broomfield and Colorado School of Mines.
