Shannon Eaker

Shannon Eaker currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at Xcell Biosciences since April 2022. Prior to this role, Shannon held significant positions at Cytiva, where Shannon was the Cell and Gene Therapy FastTrak Leader from July 2010 to April 2022, and at GE Healthcare in Cell and Gene Therapy from July 2010 to March 2020. Shannon's experience also includes serving as an Adjunct Professor at Tusculum College from August 2008 to August 2010, an Account Manager at Millipore from August 2007 to August 2010, and a Staff Scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory from August 2004 to December 2005. Early in Shannon's career, Shannon completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Biology at the American Red Cross from August 2001 to August 2003. Educationally, Shannon earned a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, between 1993 and 2001.
