Matthew Wagner has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Matthew began their career as an Internet Technician at North East Missouri Rural Telephone Company in 2008. In 2011, they took on a role as a Cashier at Casey's General Stores/Casey's Advertising. In 2013, they became an Application Developer at Grinnell Mutual, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining Personal Lines Web Service, Java Integrations with COBOL XML Parser, IBM Command Language, COBOL Backend development, Java, Javascript, JSP, Hibernate, Spring, Aldon, SQL, JUnit Automated Testing, Angular 6 & 8 (Typescript), HTML, CSS, SASS, Rational Software Architect (IDE), Intellij IDE, OpenText Exstream (Previously HP) development and integration with Existing Systems, creating and maintaining Integration Web Services (REST GET/POST, SOAP) and Integration Web Client (REST GET/POST, SOAP), WebSphere and Tomcat Server deployment and setup, debugging/troubleshooting Issues (On-Call), flexibility between applications, experience with Hyland Onbase (expired certification), Jira, BitBucket, Confluence, Aldon Workflow, Document Workflow (Spreadsheet, Visio Workflow), and integrated Angular with Java RESTFUL APIs to subscribe and retrieve/submit data for realtime integration. In 2023, they took on a role as a Systems Break/Fix Engineer at Xcelocloud Inc., where they are responsible for the design and implementation of LAN/WAN, Server and Cloud Services technology.

Matthew Wagner attended Putnam County R-1 from 2003 to 2009, where they earned a Diploma in High School. Matthew then attended Indian Hills Community College from 2011 to 2013 and earned an Associate's degree in Computer Software Engineering.
