Dr. Erdal Ozkaya

Dr. Erdal Ozkaya has a diverse and extensive work experience in the cybersecurity field. Dr. Erdal is currently the Chief Cybersecurity Strategist and CISO at Xcitium since April 2021. Dr. Erdal is also a Board Member at the National Cyber Group since May 2023 and at the Global CISO Forum since May 2021.

Dr. Ozkaya has served as a lecturer and professor (honorary) at Charles Sturt University since December 2012, where they conducted research on the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and privacy issues in social media websites. Dr. Erdal also played a role in promoting the IT master's degree in cybersecurity at the university.

Previously, Dr. Ozkaya held various leadership positions at Standard Chartered Bank, including Regional Chief Information Security Officer and Managing Director from October 2019 to April 2021, and Head of Information and Cyber Security/Managing Director from April 2019 to April 2021.
