Fuqiang Liu has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Fuqiang began their career in 1997 at Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical R & D, L.L.C. as a Scientist in Chemical Development, and subsequently held roles as Senior Scientist, Principal Scientist and Team Leader, and Associate Director of API Development. In 2011, they moved to the FDA as a CMC reviewer. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at various companies, including eVenus Pharmaceutical Laboratories, Inc. as Vice President, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) as Director of Early Development-Global CMC Regulatory Affairs, Simcere Pharmaceutical Group as Head of International Medicine, FB-HRS, L.L.C. as President, and Betta Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. as Vice President and Head of CMC. Currently, they are an Executive Vice President at Xcovery Holdings, Inc.
Fuqiang Liu has a long educational history. Fuqiang started with a B.S. in Chemistry from Peking University, which they completed in 1987. Fuqiang then went on to get an M.S. in Inorganic Chemistry and Crystal Growth from Beijing University of Technology in 1990. Finally, they completed a Ph. D. in Organic Chemistry from Emory University in 1996.
