Bjørn Haugen Thonvold

Bjørn Haugen Thonvold has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Bjørn began their professional career in 1994 as an HR Consultant at Hewlett-Packard, where they later held various roles including HR Technology Specialist, Global Program Manager for Leadership and Employee Development, and HR Development Consultant for Northern Europe. In 2006, Bjørn worked as an Interim HR Manager at Thorn Lighting and later as an HR Manager at Norges Automobil-Forbund. In 2007, they joined Xellia Pharmaceuticals, where they held the positions of Company HRD Director and HR Manager Norway before becoming the Corporate VP People & Organization. In this role, they led a team of professionals, defined the P&O strategy, and focused on building a strong company culture.

Bjørn Haugen Thonvold has a diverse education history. In 2019, they completed a program in Leading Change and Organizational Renewal at Harvard Business School Executive Education. In 2014, they completed a program in Organizational Design at Hult Ashridge. In 2010, they attended the London Business School for a program on Human Resource Strategy in Transforming Organizations. In 2003-2004, they pursued a Master Level program in Leadership Development at BI Norwegian Business School. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Criterion Referenced Instructional Design from the Center for Effective Performance, Atlanta in 2001. Bjørn Haugen Thonvold's earlier education includes a Bachelor's degree in Economics and HR from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) in the years 1985-1989. Prior to that, they completed their officer training at Befalsskolen for Hærens Samband from 1983-1985.
