Zach Stern

Co-Founder & President at XENCOM FACILITY MANAGEMENT LLC

Zach is the co-founder of Elemco Building Controls in New York. He attended a two-year engineering program at Manhattan College and holds a BA in Psychology from Hunter College. Over the past 25 years, Zach has been instrumental in shaping the energy conservation industry in the New York area by working closely with NYSERDA (New York State Energy Research and Development Authority) on sub metering and M&V (metering and verification) protocols and requirements. Zach has also taught courses on Energy Conservation and Green Building Maintenance to BOMA/BOMI members as well as local 94 IUOE Stationary Engineers. Zach is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), ASHRAE and LonMark America. He is an active member in the USGBC (National & Long Island Chapters) and has been a past Board Chair for the Flushing YMCA of Greater New York.
