Hong-Chan Wei

Hong-Chan Wei is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and thermodynamics, currently serving as Engineer V at X-energy since June 2021. Responsibilities include managing reactor integrated models, developing specialized bundles for heat exchangers, and conducting analyses for helium service systems. Prior to this role, Hong-Chan served as Senior Hydraulic Specialist at DNV GL, where project management and client communication were key tasks. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master's degree in Nuclear Science Engineering from the University of Florida.
