Marilyn Delgado

Marilyn Delgado is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical and thermal hydraulics. Currently serving as Lead of Risk Informed Safety Analysis at X-energy since August 2025, Marilyn previously held the position of Mechanical System Design Engineer at BWX Technologies, Inc. from July 2021 to August 2025. Marilyn's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Multidisciplinary Engineering and a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University, where research focused on thermal hydraulic studies. Additional experience includes a Graduate Research role at Texas A&M, internships at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and various engineering assistance roles at City College of New York and Texas A&M. Marilyn's skills encompass CAD modeling, technical writing, and the design and analysis of mechanical systems.
