Zachary Burns

Zachary Burns is an experienced Project Manager at X-energy, overseeing the XE-100 Nuclear Graphite Program, where responsibilities include managing budgets between $5 million to $25 million across various project components such as quality assurance and supply chain. Previously, Zachary served as the System Lead and Structural Analyst for the same program, contributing to design engineering and quality assurance initiatives. Prior roles include Mechanical Engineer and Intern at Westinghouse Electric Company, focusing on reactor internals and performing structural and thermal analyses. Zachary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Grove City College and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University.
