Carl Ekener

Carl Ekener has diverse work experience in the IT industry. Carl currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Xenit AB, a growing cloud computing company. Carl contributes to the company's goal of becoming a leading and compassionate cloud partner by providing services that enable remote work, collaboration, and freedom in choosing devices, working hours, and workplaces.

Prior to Xenit AB, Carl worked at Candidator AB (now Iver Sverige AB), an IT company specializing in IT infrastructure and support outsourcing. During their tenure, they held various positions, including HR Manager, and saw the company grow from 40 employees to over 550.

Before joining Candidator AB, Carl worked as a Senior IT Consultant at the same company, as well as at Västra Götalandsregionen, where they focused on IT infrastructure support and operations.

Earlier in their career, Carl gained experience as an IT Consultant at Elan IT Sweden and Office IT-Partner.

Carl Ekener attended Dale Carnegie Training from 2017 to 2018, where they studied Kommunikation och ledarskap (Communication and Leadership). Prior to that, they completed their education at Lerums Gymnasium, specializing in Ekonomi (Economics). In addition to their formal education, Carl obtained a certification in 2021 from Di ScaleUp. This certification is in the form of a 12-month growth program for management teams called ScaleUp Academy.
