Lee Gervitz

Lee Gervitz, PhD, MBA, currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs at Xenon Pharmaceuticals Inc., responsible for developing and implementing strategic operational plans for Medical Affairs. Previously, Lee held the position of Vice President and Head of North America Medical at Biogen, where the focus was on strategy and execution across various functions to enhance patient lives. Prior roles include leadership at Sanofi Genzyme, overseeing global medical operations and strategy in multiple therapeutic areas, as well as extensive experience at UCB, leading rheumatology and immunology initiatives. Lee’s educational background encompasses a PhD in Medical Physiology, an MBA in Health Organization Management, and dual bachelor’s degrees in Zoology and Biology from the University of Texas at Austin.
