Barbara Cohn

Barbara Cohn is an accomplished senior consultant and Chief Data Officer (CDO) with extensive experience advising federal agencies and leading data initiatives in various organizations. Currently serving at Xentity Corporation since 2017, Barbara specializes in public policy, data strategy, data governance, and evidence-based policymaking. Previously, Barbara was the first CDO for the Colorado Department of Transportation, where innovative data governance and strategies were implemented to enhance data accessibility and quality. Barbara also held leadership roles as CDO in New York, helping develop an Open Data website and managing major social services transformations in New York City. With a robust background in managing large-scale operations and a law degree from the Cardozo School of Law, Barbara is recognized for advancing data-driven practices across government sectors.
