Cheryl Contreras

Cheryl Contreras is a seasoned UAS professional with extensive experience in various roles within the drone industry. Currently serving as a UAS Project Consultant at Airspace Link, Inc. since June 2024, and as a UAS Operations Consultant at Xeo Air Inc. since January 2020, Cheryl provides valuable consultation services in data analytics, photogrammetry, and geospatial data review. Additionally, as the UAS Training Director at Airversity Drone Academy + Consulting, Cheryl prepares individuals for UAS operations and ensures training programs reflect the latest advancements in technology and regulations. Previously, Cheryl held the position of Director of Flight Operations and Program Manager at Iris Automation Inc. from September 2017 to July 2023, where mission leadership was a key responsibility. Cheryl's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Spanish Language from the University of Nevada, Reno.
