Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical and firmware engineer with a diverse background in developing collaborative solutions, particularly in educational technology. Currently at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the development of hardware and firmware for DViT interactive whiteboards and various educational devices. Previous roles include electronics contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris focused on electronics design for educational devices, and electronics engineer at Grindcom, specializing in control systems for the forestry industry. Additionally, Chris served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary while earning an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, following a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
