Gerard Troy

Gerard Troy is an experienced professional in strategic sourcing and procurement, currently serving as Head of Strategic Sourcing at Xero since August 2015. In this role, Gerard oversees all sourcing activities in the US and UK while supporting the expansion of Xero's Global Commercial and Procurement function. Prior to this, Gerard held various roles at Xero, contributing to significant cost reductions and team growth within the Commercial and Procurement sectors. Gerard's previous experience includes leading commercial negotiations for Spark New Zealand's largest government clients and developing innovative sourcing strategies within the organization. Gerard holds a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration from Victoria University of Wellington and is currently pursuing a Leadership Certificate in Organizational Leadership.
