Martin Johnson

Martin Johnson is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in managing large teams and delivering impactful technological solutions. Currently, as the Head of Engineering at Xero, Martin leads a product engineering team of over 60 engineers focused on mobile products. Previously, Martin served as Head of Engineering at SEEK, overseeing job search and career services for over 150 million users across Asia Pacific, while also leading cross-functional teams in multiple locations. Martin's career includes senior technical roles at National Australia Bank and Computershare, where responsibilities ranged from agile delivery to software architecture. Martin began the professional journey at VMS and ADP, providing consultancy and technical leadership in software development. Martin holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing and Information Systems from the University of Staffordshire.
