Matt Duncan-Jones

Matt Duncan-Jones has extensive experience in software development and engineering, currently serving as the Lead Infrastructure (DevOps) Engineer in the Cloud Enablement team at Xero since February 2014. Responsibilities include Azure resource provisioning, AWS account management, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) self-service, and support for serverless applications and API integrations. Previously, Matt held various roles at Xero, focusing on automated CI/CD tools, engineering standards, and production deployment practices. Prior to Xero, Matt Duncan-Jones worked as a freelance web developer and held positions at GPLUS2 as Principal Software Developer and Salesout Ltd as a Web Developer & Application Support. Education includes a National Diploma in Music Technology from Leeds College of Music and further studies at The Open University.
