Richard Brookes

Richard Brookes is an experienced professional with a background in web development and software engineering. Currently serving as Development Team Lead at Xero since January 2020, Richard also co-founded Akudos Ltd in January 2017 and owns CONSEA, a freelance web development business specializing in ASP.NET and Umbraco since April 2012. Prior experience includes roles as a Developer at BankLink and Navman, and as a Senior Developer at iSoft. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Newcastle University, obtained between 1995 and 1998.
