Tom Burton

Tom Burton is an accomplished Engineering Team Lead at Xero since July 2022, overseeing two Australian Payroll teams across Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this role, Tom served as an Engineering Manager and Product Owner at NAB from February 2013 to June 2022, where responsibilities included delivering projects for the Australian and New Zealand business lending portfolio and enhancing the Business Lending platform applications. Tom began at NAB as a Business Analyst within the Austin asset team, focusing on product and system enhancements for Business Markets Loans, and participated in the 2013 NAB Graduate program. Earlier experience includes serving as an IT Coordinator at GM Holden from January 2011 to January 2012. Tom holds a Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems with a focus on Information Systems from Monash University, obtained between 2009 and 2012.
